History shows Governments can screw a lot of people at the same time. We can measure each action and decision made by how it is accepted by the people it affects. Decisions should be explained and accepted before the sex.
A model of revocable informed consent should be used in government as it has been for sex. For most people it is important to first develop some relationship before proceeding to screw our brains. Explain why an idea should be accepted by a party it is intended to help before imposing rape. Consent should be gotten before people are screwed.
Being able to explain the decisions to the rest of the developed world is wonderful but explaining decisions to the people being affected is crucial. It is natural and important for self preservation to resist change you do not understand. People like being in harmony with their environment and knowing what to expect from it. If we are informed ahead of changes we have the ability to plan and make better choices.
