When first elected as a class representative to student council I was asleep. I was elected in social studies because I believed our government worked. Once elected, I just sat in and passively listened. Looking back I remember the donuts more clearly then the ideas shared. I let things work and passively observed government happen. I had people above me, I listened and did not find cause to rock the boat. I was unprepared to report back what went on in council and there I failed.
Through life certain things rocked me boat and I learned to pay attention to storms forming, wars building towers falling and the parts of the world collapsing around me. I decided that someone should do something. I decided to do something. I turned my attention from school what people where teaching me and instead turned my attention to the noise. I listened to the noise, the loud misunderstood information pulling our attention.
